meditation is all about exploring. What will be your answer if someone asks you who you are? You will probably say I am what I saw in this country etc / state, I am a businessman and I am too. But this answer is correct? Do you really know who you are? You do not know about you, if you explore yourself and meditation is a technique to explore.
A meditator or a person, the practice of meditation is always, yes … always free of any religion, ethnicity and culture.
It is a misconception about meditation, concentration is. Concentration is not meditation. If you focus on something, the hub or if you are present, and if you are present, there is no meditation. Thus, in a broader sense, there can not even do meditation, it is. You can watch and wait. All meditation techniques will prepare you to be on stage or in meditation without ego.
Personally, I love the two words of Maya (the dream) and Vasudhev Kutumbkam (the whole universe is my family). I call these experiences or feelings is meditation. Things will be present, but when “I” disappears, we lose all the connections, relationships, identities, because the dream of “me” all things were then.
If a drop loses its identity when it mingles with the sea, the same thing when the “I” disappears. We are now connected to the universe and the universe is our family. These two things are experiences. These experiences are all meditators who have attained enlightenment or the dissolution of their identity known.
